As long as I can remember, I’ve always scribbled or drawn on the edges of paper, with most of my school notebooks filled with sketches. Does this sound familiar to you?
Even in high school, I had the opportunity to study textile painting/silk painting at the factory “Tekstiil”, and about seven years ago, I resumed painting on silk. What captivates me about painting on silk is how the colours blend together and create art on such a delicate and sensitive material.
I have accumulated nearly 15 years of experience in painting with acrylics and pastels at the Kullo Painting Studio, as well as through the Open Academy of the Estonian Academy of Arts. Thanks to the courses offered by the Academy, I have also delved into the joys of oil painting and various mixed media techniques. Additionally, participating in workshops facilitated by renowned artists has allowed me to gain fresh perspectives.
Having graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu, I currently work as a medical consultant for a pharmaceutical company. However, painting remains my passion in life!
